Relevant Awards and Honours




  1.    Honoured for Chairing a session and as a speaker on Left-Wing Extremism: Mitigating the New Threat' Challenges for India's Homeland Security,' on 15th March, 2013 at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi.
  2.  Awarded the Recommendation letter by the Commissioner of Police, Pune, Shri. Pol for the work to organize and deliver lecture for students during the Ganesh festival and working as a special Police Officer in Pune
  3.  Qualified NET examination conducted by the University Grants Commission, UGC for Lectureship in year 2012.
  4.  Worked as a Zonal Captian for IMF and NGO working on Maritime and Environmental issues. Managed the International Coastal Cleanup event on behalf of Ocean Conservancy, in Pune, under the President of India for ICC, India, Cmdr.(Retd) Rajan Vir, IMF, Pune.
  5.  Represented University of Pune at the State level Research Symposium, ‘Avishkar’ and awarded 1st prize at Post Doctorate level for the paper on ‘New Face of Terrorism and India’s Counterstrategy’.
  6.  Represented Maharashtra state as an individual for the PARA Training course held in Agra, (PARA Training School), awarded PARA wing for completing the 5 jumps. Authorized for wear Para wing as a Para Trooper and the first from the Signal Regiment of NCC, Pune, since 1962 to represent the course. 
  7.  Completed the NCC “C” Certificate with B Grade at senior division from 1MAH Signal Company, Pune, serving for four years in NCC, awarded ‘C’ certificate holding the rank of Senior under officer. 
  8. I was the Senior under Officer and in charge of Pune unit for 'Vighnaharta Sevak Yojana' organised by Former Commissioner of Police, Pune, A.N Roy during the Ganesh Festival representing the NCC division of Pune in year 2003. As acquired first hand information of the working of police personal during that tenure.
